Kennedy under fire for healthcare support

Bishop Thomas J. Tobin of the Providence Diocese in Rhode Island also criticized Kennedy, son of the late U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy, for recent comments the senator made regarding the Catholic Church's opposition to the abortion component, The Boston Globe reported Saturday.

Banned group's offices raided

Bangladesh's Daily Star reported police raided the offices of the banned group Sunday in Dhaka and Sylhet and seized several computers, several hundred CDs, a large number of books, leaflets, posters and other materials.

Accused janitor found priest's body

Investigators say Jose Feliciano, 64, admitted stabbing the Rev. Edward Hinds, The Star-Ledger of Newark reported. Feliciano told police he killed the priest during an argument late Thursday afternoon in the rectory of St. Patrick's Church in Chatham.
