At least nine dead in capsizing

One child was among the dead. The boat was carrying between 40 and 50 passengers, many of them believed to be Hindu pilgrims en route to the Lakshmi Narasimha Swami temple, CNN reported.

Gay bishop to wed in Northern Ireland

The Belfast Telegraph reported Saturday that postings at the Larne Borough Council offices announced the excommunicated Roman Catholic Church cleric and his partner, whose identity was not released, are expected to marry in the Larne chapel where Buckley previously blessed other gay and lesbian unions.

Teen held in killing outside church

Jamar Mook Houser, 18, of Youngstown was taken into custody Friday evening, The Youngstown Vindicator reported. Youngstown police questioned him about the shooting of Angeline Fimognari, 80.
