Important Information: During the current school closure that has resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic, Marana Unified School District (MUSD) staff members are creatively trying to provide special education services for our students. MUSD's plan is to provide many special education services through the use of ZOOM or other virtual formats. Given the present circumstances, the use of this type of face-to-face platform may be the best way for our special education teachers, speech language therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other service providers to provide services to your son or daughter. Although some special education services are provided on an individual, one-to-one basis, many others are delivered to small groups of students. We need to continue to meet with students in small groups and, as a practical matter given the school closure, these meetings will need to occur using a virtual format. Although we will ask all families to be sensitive to confidentiality issues, we cannot eliminate the possibility that your child's participation in one of these virtual group meetings could be viewed or overheard by another student's family member or other person in their home. | | | | | | | | |
