| | Graduation Update | | | | As shared with you previously, high school principals and District Leadership continue to discuss how we can celebrate our seniors and acknowledge the important milestone of a graduation ceremony. We recognize and embrace the importance of seniors celebrating their kindergarten through 12th grade accomplishments. Graduation signifies a time of completion and the start of a new chapter. Recognizing the Governor's order to close schools through the end of the school year and the social distancing requirements related to the health crisis affecting all of our lives, school districts are faced with having to cancel currently scheduled graduation ceremonies. While we are unable to hold our May 19 graduation ceremony, it is our intent to conduct a dignified celebration, at some point in the future, for the class of 2020. Given this unprecedented health crisis and the evolution of local, state, and national guidelines and orders, we cannot yet determine a date or details associated with this celebration. Rest assured that, as soon as able, we will provide details. Sincerely, | | | | | | |
