Dear Parent/Guardian,
I hope everyone in your home is well, and I hope that your student has had opportunities to connect with teachers and classmates through phone, text, Zoom or other formats.
At Mountain View, our teachers are providing educational opportunities every day. New content is uploaded weekly into Google Classrooms and teachers are meeting with students during office hours and Zoom meetings. We are able to and want to provide learning opportunities to our students who lack access to wi-fi. We are creating packets, and providing supportive links that can be accessed easily through phones. What we need from you, is to know if your student has access to wi-fi.
Please respond to this email. All you need to write is,
“Yes. (insert your student’s name) has access to wi-fi.”
or
“No. (insert your student’s name) does not have access to wi-fi.”
If your student does not have access to wifi, I will share this information with Cheryl Prosser, one of our school secretaries. She will contact you and your student's teachers to set up packet creations and a pick up/drop off schedule. Generally, Friday mornings are used for the pick-up and drop-off of packets, however if that day doesn’t work for you, Ms. Prosser will work to set a different schedule.
If there is anything else that you believe Mountain View can do to help your student and you, please let me or our administration know. Where we can help, we will.
Take care. Stay safe.
Mr. Allen
