How to Potty Train a Puppy in a Litterbox By Jimmy Fisher How to potty train a puppy in a litter box is something that some people want to learn how to complete. However, this can be a challenge, but it can save you a tremendous amount of mess around your home. Here are some tips that can help you in learning how to potty train a puppy in a litter box so that you can complete this task quickly. The first tip would be to figure out the perfect placement for the litter box that you want your puppy to use. Now this doesn't mean that you are going to need to place one in each room, but in an area that is going to be accessible to your pet at all times that way he can get to it when he needs it. So putting it in a room that has the door closed most of the time will not work out to well for you. The second tip would be while your pet is still learning where to go potty you will want to take him to the litter box frequently. That way he will understand that this is where you want him to do his business at. The best time to do this is when you first get him or her out of there crate when they haven't went potty in a while. Then the other perfect time is when you are observing him and see that he is starting to display the actions that he would be doing when he has to use the potty then you would want to take him as well. While learning how to potty train a puppy in a litter box can be a difficult thing to do if you live in a city without a yard then it might be very important for you to do this. I know the tips that I provided help out. ======== You can learn even more great tips and training advice by visiting Dogbehaviorsolved.info. |
