Is Your Cat Nervous? - Try Natural Remedies
By Larry Ginger

Is your cat nervous? First of all, you should determine the reason why your cat feels constantly nervous, scared or uncomfortable. There are many things that can affect a cat's temperament and these include being exposed to traumatic events, having strangers around the house or the addition of another pet. Some cats will become traumatized by the simplest of things such as thunder and lightning, loud household appliances and fireworks.

Once you have determined the exact cause of your cat's nervousness then you can already find a solution to your problem. Sometimes the solution lies in simply moving your cat's regular spots to another location in your house. If the problem is another person, then maybe you can tell that person to approach your cat slowly and gently so he or she would not appear too scary for your cat. Sometimes, simple solutions like this can already cure a cat of its nervousness.

If the problem persists even after you have eliminated the thing that is making your cat nervous then that is the time for you to seek more complicated solutions. Many pet owners feel the urge to pet their cats when they are feeling nervous or distressed. What you should know is that doing so can actually be detrimental to your efforts of finding a solution to the problem. This is because petting can actually encourage the cat's nervous behavior and can make her dependent on you and may seek you whenever your cat is experiencing a stressful or scary situation. The ideal situation is for your cat to be able to deal with the problem by itself and to feel comfortable with their surroundings and not be bothered too much with little things that may cause stress.

You may encounter information about commercially-available drugs to cure your cats nervousness but what you should know is that many drugs out there contain chemicals and other artificial ingredients that may cause more harm than good. Prolonged use of these drugs may lead to some serious health conditions and even organ damage. Some of these drugs are also habit-forming and may cause dependency or addiction to your cats.

========

Always keep in mind that when it comes to your cat's health problems natural solutions are still best. If you really think that you need some extra help in easing your cat's nervousness then go for all-natural herbal remedies that are not only effective but are also safe. http://www.petanxietyrelief.com
