arbcombo -- November 17, 2015 Public Work Group Teleconference Meeting to Update Light-Duty Pilot Projects to Benefit Disadvantaged Communities

The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) invites you to participate
in a public work group teleconference meeting to provide updates
on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 Light-Duty Pilot Projects to
Benefit Disadvantaged Communities (see below), introduce FY
2015-16 Light Duty Pilot Projects, and discuss the public work
group and workshop process for the FY 2016-17 Funding Plan for
ARB's Low Carbon Transportation Investments and Air Quality
Improvement Program (AQIP).

Light-Duty Pilot Projects to Benefit Disadvantaged Communities

Increased Incentives for Public Fleets: Rebates of up to $15,000
for public fleets in disadvantaged communities. Project is
administered as a set aside within the Clean Vehicle Rebate
Project.

Car Sharing and Mobility Options: Funding to establish advanced
clean car sharing fleets in or near disadvantaged communities.

Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program (EFMP) Plus-up: Additional
incentives above the base incentives offered by the existing
retire and replace program for lower-income consumers in and near
disadvantaged communities who retire older, higher emitting
vehicles and replace them with used or new hybrid, plug-in
hybrid, or zero-emission vehicles.

Financing Assistance: Improved financing options for lower income
consumers in disadvantaged communities to acquire advanced
technology vehicles.

Agricultural Worker Vanpools in the San Joaquin Valley: Funding
to establish expanded access to cleaner transportation options
for agricultural workers in San Joaquin Valley's disadvantaged
communities. (New for FY 2015-16)
