Study of Neighborhood Air near Petroleum Sources (SNAPS)

California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff is starting a collaborative process to develop an air study in California neighborhoods located near oil and gas operations. The Study of Neighborhood Air near Petroleum Sources (SNAPS) includes limited-term, intensive air quality monitoring with a particular focus on production facilities.

The previously announced public meeting will be the first in a series of SNAPS meetings. That meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th at 6:00 pm in the Sierra Hearing Room at the Cal/EPA Building in Sacramento and will also be webcast. Additional public meetings will be announced as they are scheduled.
