Do you have students who have wondered about the potential threat of near-Earth objects? If they have wondered, they are not alone! For years, scientists have been trying to analyze the orbits of these objects and estimate their size in order to understand the threat they impose.
Discover the answers by experimenting with the data! Come to the next, free Saturday morning online Teen Astronomy Café on April 3. It is entitled "Hazardous Asteroids" with Ardis Herrold.
To participate in our online Teen Astronomy Café on April 3, please sign up by March 31 using the link below. On Friday, April 2, we will send an email on how to connect to the April 3rd café through zoom.
Times: 9:30am until 11:30am. (We start on time. All times are in Arizona time.)
