Good evening Mountain Lion family,

Our teachers, staff and administrative team wanted to thank you for choosing Mountain View High School for your child's education and reassure you that we are going to provide the quality of education that you have come to expect from Marana Unified School District.

Based on feedback gathered from both parents and teachers over the summer, MUSD has spent a significant amount of time developing a comprehensive virtual learning experience that, when compared to existing virtual platforms, offers significantly more for you and your child.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Daily Interactive Zoom sessions with Classroom Teacher
  • Small Group Instruction to meet your child where they are
  • All Core subjects taught: Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies
  • Elective options, including AP, Fine Arts and CTE courses
  • Targeted Counseling lessons
  • Special Education Services
  • Administrator Involvement
  • Weekly reports of Chromebook activity

When school returns to on-campus learning, your child will have an easy transition back.  Families will also have the option to continue Remote Learning even after school opens.

We welcome your feedback during this period of Remote Learning.

Parents please see attached PDF for detailed instructions on how to access ParentVue. Student schedules will be available today and we will be using ParentVue to communicate important information. Beginning on Friday July 31st, teachers will be sending a message through ParentVue/StudentVue that includes access codes for your child's to log into their Google classrooms. Students should be encouraged to access their StudentVUE and can follow the same instructions in the PDF. If you need additional support, please contact Lois Sims at 579-4405.

Student Chromebook Accounts and Chromebook Security

Please see the two documents linked herein to receive information and support regarding student Google accounts, and the security systems we use to provide safe electronic learning.  The CB Deployment letter provides login information and support for questions and troubleshooting.  The MUSD Gaggle, Securly, Go Guardian letter describes the functions of these systems and provides direction for parent access.
