MUSD Survey Letter from Superintendent

Letterhead

September 27, 2018

To MUSD Parents/Guardians:

Over the past several years, the Marana district has worked diligently to strengthen our curriculum and instructional model to meet the needs of our 21st century learners. To continue to meet these needs, MUSD is excited to further enhance our curricular both within and between grade levels. This vertical alignment will allow us to embed particular 21st century skill development at each grade level, ensuring each student the opportunity to achieve curriculum standards and greater success in college, career, and life.

As part of this process, we want to hear from you. I am inviting you to participate in our Portrait of a MUSD Graduate survey to be launched on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. On that day, you will receive an email invitation to participate in a short survey regarding what you consider to be the most valuable overarching goals for student success.

This information will guide MUSD in goal development to ensure when every student graduates and leaves our District they will be prepared with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary for success in an ever-changing society.

Everyone in our community has a voice and we hope you will participate in this exciting process.

Thank you in advance for your time; your contribution and participation is greatly valued.

Pursuing Excellence,

Doug Wilson, Ed.D.
Superintendent
