If your 10th or 11th grade student signed up for the PSAT on October 24th, please make sure they have signed up for the Remind app using the code on the attached flier. This is where they will receive messages and reminders for the test. Students should have also received a study guide to prepare for the test. In case they did not receive the study guide or misplaced it, the link for the study guide is listed below.

We will be holding Pre-Administration sessions (bubbling personal information) during Summit on Wednesday, September 26th. Please have your student check their google classroom on Tuesday, so that they know where to go for the Pre-Administration session.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of Senior Students
Counseling will be meeting with all Senior English classes, this Thursday, to go over the importance of FAFSA (Federal Application for Free Student Aid). On Monday, October 1st, students will be asked to create their FSA ID in summit. In order to complete this, students will need to know their social security number. Please talk to your student in regards to this information, so that they are able to complete this task. In addition, please see attached newsletter about the importance of the FAFSA.

The Pima County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Youth Council has selected TWO projects for youth who want to volunteer for the United Way "Days of Caring 2018":

The University of Arizona's School of Theatre, Film & Television is once again proud to offer our FREE Behind The Scenes Experience to high school students and their families and teachers. This year's event will take place Saturday, November 3, 9am-1pm, and will feature a tour of the set of a current theatre production, a demonstration of how film sound gets created, a behind-the-scenes look at how films are produced, and an acting & audition workshop. All this plus a chance to hear about career opportunities, meet with current students and professors, and see our facilities. After a lunch break, an optional tour of the UA campus begins.
