A Community of Empowered, Innovative and Engaged Citizens | | | Good evening Mountain Lion family, There is a lot of excitement on campus as we move toward the end of the semester and deep into our end of year activities. This time of year is very busy on a high school campus. A few of our favorite events include our senior class and this year is no different. On May 7th, our Class of 2021 will be again be participating in our Grad Walk. For this event we load our seniors onto school buses and visit our feeder elementary schools as well as Dove Mountain and Tortolita. It is a special moment for our seniors to thank their teachers and for them to be mentors to our future Mountain Lions. May 18th is our Mountain View Graduation ceremony. Although it has been a very difficult 14 months our seniors have done great and are close to walking across the stage and being recognized for their accomplishments. Congratulations Class of 2021. For senior parents, we sent two surveys to your child last week. The first survey is to let us know if your student will be participating in the in-person graduation or the alternate graduation on May 19th and 20th. The second survey is for our seniors to identify which teachers they would like to read names at graduation. Please check to make sure they completed both surveys. Mountain View High School is one of only 232 schools nationwide to earn the College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women's access to AP Computer Science A for the 2019-2020 school year!
