arbcombo -- The California Air Resources Board has Released the November 2013 Auction Notice

The ARB has released the Auction Notice for the California
Cap-and-Trade Program Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Allowance Auction on
November 19, 2013.

The Auction Notice is posted on the ARB website at:
www.arb.ca.gov/auction.

The November 2013, GHG allowance auction will offer year 2013
current vintage allowances and year 2016 future vintage
allowances for sale.

The November 2013 auction is scheduled to take place from 10:00
AM Pacific Time (PT) until 1:00 PM PT. The November 2013 Auction
Notice and attachments provide information about eligibility,
auction format and procedures, and participation requirements.
The November 2013 Auction Notice and attachments include updated
guidance on bid schedules and bid guarantees. This guidance
clarifies that submitted bids that contain bid quantities in
excess of the purchase limit or the holding limit, or that have a
maximum value greater than the bid guarantee, are in violation of
the California Cap-and-Trade Regulation, and that bid guarantees
must be able to cover bids at both the Current Auction and the
Advance Auction.

Questions regarding the bidding process can be sent directly to
the Auction Administrator Support Team at
auctionsupport@markit.com.
