arbcombo -- Notice of Public Workshop on September 1, 2016 to discuss the Proposed 2016 State Strategy for the State Implementation Plan

The California Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) staff invites
you to participate in a workshop on Thursday, September 1, 2016,
regarding the Proposed 2016 State Strategy for the State
Implementation Plan (State SIP Strategy).

At the workshop, staff will discuss and take comment on the State
SIP Strategy and proposed control measures. These proposed
measures will achieve the emission reductions from mobile
sources, fuels, and consumer products necessary to meet the ozone
and fine particulate (PM2.5) attainment deadlines established by
the Clean Air Act.

Staff will present the State SIP Strategy during the September 22
– 23, 2016 Board hearing. The Board will consider the State SIP
Strategy at its December 8 – 9, 2016 hearing. Based on Board
direction, ARB will work with air districts to include the
proposed control measures in their regional attainment
demonstrations, as needed.

The workshop notice and further information can be found at
