Waste insulating foam from appliances and buildings contains
fluorinated gases (F-gases) with very high global warming
potentials up to 4,000 times more warming than carbon dioxide.
The waste foam has been identified as a potentially significant
source of greenhouse gas emissions from landfills. For more go
