To: Freight list serves.
In July 2015, Governor Brown issued Executive Order B-32-15,
which directs, among other things, the initiation of work on
corridor-level freight pilot projects within the State's primary
trade corridors that integrate advanced technologies, alternative
fuels, freight and fuel infrastructure, and local economic
development opportunities.
In October 2015, staff from the Department of Transportation, Air
Resources Board, Energy Commission, and the Governor's Office of
Business and Economic Development requested that interested
persons share ideas for pilot projects by November 30. The pilot
project ideas that were received can now be viewed and accessed
at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/gmp/sfti/pilotprojectsub.htm.
