arbcombo -- Draft Agenda for the July 8, 2015, Symposium on the Governor's 50% Petroleum Reduction Goal

On July 8, 2015, the Air Resources Board, California State
Transportation Agency, and California Department of
Transportation will hold a joint symposium to hear from experts
on ways to transform California's transportation system to
achieve Governor Brown's goal of reducing California's use of
petroleum by up to 50 percent by 2030. The draft agenda for this
symposium is now available on the Air Resources Board's website:
http://arb.ca.gov/cc/pillars/transportation/agenda.pdf

This is one of a series of public forums soliciting stakeholder
input on the key climate change strategy pillars that Governor
Brown identified in his January 2015 inaugural address. The goal
of up to 50 percent reduction in petroleum fuel use supports the
target set forth by the Governor in Executive Order B-30-15,
which calls for a 40 percent reduction in overall greenhouse gas
emissions below 1990 levels by 2030.
