arbcombo -- July 8, 2015: ARB Notice of Public Symposium to Discuss Californias 2030 Climate Commitments Cutting Petroleum Use in Half by 2030.

Air Resources Board (ARB) staff invites you to participate in one
of a series of public forums soliciting stakeholder input on the
key climate change strategy pillars that Governor Brown
identified in his January 2015 inaugural address. This
transportation-focused symposium will discuss ideas for
implementing the State's commitment to reduce petroleum use by
vehicles by up to 50 percent by 2030. This reduction in
petroleum use supports the target set forth by the Governor in
Executive Order B-30-15, which calls for a 40 percent reduction
in overall greenhouse gas emissions below 1990 levels by 2030.

The workshop notice can be found at ARB's Climate Change website
at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/cc.htm. An agenda, presentations,
and other important information will be posted on the website
prior to the symposium.
Persons interested in receiving electronic notification of
